VITAMIN INJECTIONS

Stay healthy

Energy. Metabolism. Focus. Digestion.

The benefits of the B and D vitamins are hard to ignore.

VITAMINS & MINERALS

Vitamin B-Complex Injections

B vitamins play a vital role in maintaining good health and well-being. As the building blocks of a healthy body, B vitamins have a direct impact on your energy levels, brain function, and cell metabolism.

Vitamin B complex helps prevent infections and helps support or promote:

  • cell health
  • growth of red blood cells
  • energy levels
  • good eyesight
  • healthy brain function
  • good digestion
  • healthy appetite
  • proper nerve function
  • hormones and cholesterol production
  • cardiovascular health
  • muscle tone

Sireli recommends weekly B-vitamin shots for four consecutive weeks and then monthly thereafter.  That said, many clients opt to enroll in our B-Healthy program for weekly B-vitamin shots to have better energy, sleep and focus.

What is vitamin B complex?

Vitamin B complex is composed of eight B vitamins:

  • B-1 (thiamine)
  • B-2 (riboflavin)
  • B-3 (niacin)
  • B-5 (pantothenic acid)
  • B-6 (pyridoxine)
  • B-7 (biotin)
  • B-9 (folic acid)
  • B-12 (cobalamin)

Benefits for women

B vitamins are especially important for women who are pregnant and breastfeeding. These vitamins aid in fetal brain development as well as reduce the risk of birth defects.

And for expectant mothers, B vitamins may boost energy levels, ease nausea, and lower the risk of developing preeclampsia.

Benefits for men

B vitamins are thought to increase testosterone levels in men, which naturally decrease with age. They may also help men build muscle and increase strength. However, human studies confirming these claims are lacking.

Vitamin D injections

Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin that promotes the absorption of calcium and phosphate from the intestines to benefit our bone health and immune system.

However, since vitamin D is a fickle thing, it isn’t always easy for our body to absorb the necessary amount. A study shows that 1 in 4 people in our country is vitamin D deficient.

Benefits of Vitamin D

  • Encourages the development of bones
  • Contributes to strong bones and prevents bone loss
  • Alleviates bone pain, muscle aches, and symptoms of inflammation
  • Boosts the immune system
  • Lowers cholesterol and blood pressure
  • Enhances mood and reduces anxiety
  • Reduces the risks of heart disease, obesity, and cognitive decline

When Should I get Vitamin D Injections?

Vitamin D is naturally present in foods like cheese and fatty fish or foods fortified with vitamin D, such as dairy products and cereals. However, often times people are unable to get their recommended daily allowance of vitamin D from dietary or sun exposure, especially in New England.

Treatment of vitamin D usually includes 3 intramuscular injections per year, administered at specified intervals, but the dosage depends on the patient’s medical conditions, baseline levels of vitamin D, and levels of calcium. A typical injection of vitamin D consists of 300,000 IU of vitamin D3, although this is adjusted based on the levels in your blood.

The effects of vitamin D from a single injection outweigh the effects of oral vitamin D supplements, especially for patients with severe vitamin D deficiency. Several doses of vitamin D injections are often recommended to people with dark skin or to those who struggle to get their vitamin D from food due to poor intestinal absorption.
